Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
These terms cover your use of the SideoutCam and SideoutTally apps for iPhone and iPad (together, "SideoutCam"), made by SideoutCam Support. By using SideoutCam, you agree to them.
Use of SideoutCam
SideoutCam is provided free for personal, non-commercial use, such as recording and streaming your team's games. Please don't misuse it or use it to break any law.
Your recordings and content
- You own the videos you record and the information you enter.
- You're responsible for what you record, stream and share. Make sure you have permission to record, stream and post videos and names of players, especially minors, and follow your school's, league's and venue's rules about filming.
- When you upload to Google Drive or YouTube, or stream to YouTube, Facebook or another service, that content is also governed by those services' own terms and policies.
Google and YouTube
- SideoutCam's upload and YouTube streaming features use Google APIs and YouTube API Services, and need your own Google account.
- By using SideoutCam's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- See the Google Privacy Policy and SideoutCam's Privacy Policy for how information is handled.
No warranty
SideoutCam is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, and recordings, scores, stats, streams or uploads could fail or be lost. Keep copies of anything important, and don't rely on SideoutCam as your only record of a game.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer isn't liable for any loss or damage from using, or being unable to use, SideoutCam. This includes lost recordings or data, device storage use, and mobile data charges, including data used for live streaming.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continuing to use SideoutCam means you accept the updated terms.
